Meridian Energy & Policy Consulting

Thank you for visiting my website.  My name is Jared Moore and I am an independent energy researcher and consultant providing advisory services on deep decarbonization of the energy sector.  My intention is to build a technology agnostic and politically neutral research and advocacy group focused on cost effective carbon mitigation.

My research is centered on the philosophy that the costs and benefits of new technologies and policies can only be quantified accurately through system-wide analysis.  Based on my research, I advocate for a view that cost effective, deep decarbonization will require diverse low carbon electricity suppliers as well as diverse, chemical energy carriers.
